Mary Raymond, 96, left this world on March 31st Easter Sunday morning at 1:00 am to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mary was very faithful in her religion. Mary was born on April 12, 1927, to Alexander and Mary Lasky. She was one of nine children.  Mary went to Stevens High School class of 1941.

Mary was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, BPW, Women of the Moose and the VFW Auxiliary.

Mary worked at Fashion Boutique for many years and that is where she got her sense of fashion, Beeforama, Claremont Woven Label and King's Dept. Store.

Mary was a great cook and gardener; she loved decorating and entertaining in her home. Mary also loved to dance and sing. Mary and her husband Pete were such great dancers together. She always had a song to sing to someone.

Mary was also an avid Red Sox fan, while she was in the Sullivan County Nursing Home, her and her roommate Anna spent many nights watching their games. Mary's pride and joy was watching her family grow, she also loved her little dog Molly. Mary married the love of her life William (Pete) Raymond on November 21, 1947. Together they raised five wonderful children who loved their mother very much.

Surviving family includes Son William (Buzzy) Raymond Jr. of Stewartstown, NH, Daughter Suzanne Marie Rivard and her husband Michael of Charlestown, Daughter Patrician Ann Wilson and husband Terry of Loris, SC and Son Bradley John Raymond and partner Sandi of Mont Rose, CA. Also 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, one sister Valeria Simmons of NJ, and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Mary's husband Pete predeceased her in 2006 and a son Jeffrey Paul Raymond and also three grandsons; Billy, Matthew and TJ Raymond.

Friends may call at the Stringer Funeral Home 146 Broad Street, Claremont NH on Friday April 12, 2024, from 5-7.

A memorial mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 13, 2024 at 10:30 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Maria Sebastian Susairaj HGN officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery Main St. Claremont.
