Michael Schultz of Unity, NH died early Friday morning (June 23) at Dartmouth Hitchcock after a short illness. "Mike" Schultz was born in Claremont, NH to Russell Schultz and Alice Schultz (both deceased). Older brother Charlie Schultz and sister Kathleen Schultz are also deceased.

As a child Mike attended Unity Elementary School. Mike served and was honorably discharged from The US Army. After returning to civilian life, Mike worked several jobs including Joy Manufacturing as a machinist. Later, Mike would open and run his own Body Shop (Mike's Auto Body) in Unity, NH.

Mike worked his whole life, even after he was officially retired. Over the years he built several Hot Rods, restored several antique farm tractors, was an active member of The New Hampshire Antique Tractor Club, active outdoorsman, active member of the local snowmobile club in the 1970's and early 1980's, loyal friend to people he liked, caring parent, loving husband, and liked cats.

Michael is survived by younger brother, Eric Schultz, member of the Slack & Woodman families, wife, Sherry (Murphy) Schultz, son, Clint Schultz, daughter, Brenda Schultz, and several other cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Anyone that wishes to honor his memory in a special way, are encouraged to donate to the Sullivan County Humane Society.

A small family and close friend gathering will happen in July, with a service at Unity Center Cemetery later.
