Myron G. Scott, age 45, died at home on October 4, 2025.

Myron was born on September 12, 1980, in Claremont, NH, where he remained a lifelong resident as a son, brother, uncle, and most importantly, a doting father to his ten-year-old son, Rory.

From a young age, Myron found solace in the great outdoors through hobbies passed down to him by his late father, Gordon M. Scott, Sr. He was also a dedicated sports fanatic, rooting for Boston and New England teams with steadfast loyalty. Myron worked hard and took pride in doing a job right. Many who worked beside him will remember his beaming grin and gentle manner, as well as his generous spirit when it came to lending a helping hand.

Above all, Myron cherished his son, Rory. Despite the obstacles Myron faced, his love for Rory was unwavering and deep, especially in the darkest of moments. Myron was proud to be a dad and wanted better for his boy than what life had dealt him. Myron believed with his entire being that Rory was the best thing he ever did. Rory was his greatest hope, his greatest love.

Myron is survived by Rory; Rory's mother, Ashley Beaulieu of Charlestown, NH; his mother, Lynda Scott of Claremont, NH; his nine siblings; his nieces and nephews; and others whom we hope will remember the version of him from the chapters of his life when his humor, grit, and good intentions shone more brightly.

Too many families, the world over, are coping with the suffering and shame that accompany addiction – which became an insurmountable part of Myron's story – but it was never the complete story, nor does it erase his worth. May Myron now find the peace he so often sought. May his memory remind us all to look caringly upon those who struggle similarly, and to hold compassion above judgment.

A private gathering will be held by the family in the coming weeks.
