Patricia Ann (Smith) Bennett , of 417 Dayton Avenue in Lehigh Acres, Fl, passed away February 20, 2023, at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers, FL after a brief illness.

She was born in Redwood Falls, MN on September 8, 1943, the daughter of Melvin and Annabelle (Taylor) Smith.

She lived and attended school in Morton, MN and graduated from Morton High School in 1961. She married Robert Stanley Bennett of Charlestown, NH at the Congregational Church in Charlestown on October 1, 1961. Pat and Bob lived in Minnesota from 1961 until 1973 when they moved to Charlestown, NH.

Pat was a stay-at-home mom until her kids were all in school, when she started working in 1973 at Elm's Hotel in Charlestown and then from 1975 thru 1982 in the school cafeteria at the Charlestown Middle School and Fall Mountain Regional High School, where she was known as "Mom Bennett" to many students. She then worked until she retired in 2005 at Ralph's Supermarket in Charlestown, where she was greeted by her many "children" daily.

Pat loved to do crafts and made many crocheted afghan blankets, children's toys, and other items and gave them to her family and many friends. She lived her later life with her daughter in FL, where she took this passion very seriously.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Bob shortly before they would have celebrated their 50 ^th wedding anniversary in 2011. She is survived by her two sons, Michael A. Bennett and his wife Pamela of Charlestown and Todd M. Bennett and his wife Susan Mendleson of Washington, ME; one daughter, Wendy A. Bennett and her friend Dave Smith of Lehigh Acres, FL; and one sister, Jean Hennen of Olivia, MN.

She was also predeceased by her brother, Ernie Smith of Ekalaka, MT; and her sister, Joyce Pavlicek of Eden Prairie, MN.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 12 ^th at 3PM at The Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main Street, Charlestown, NH. visiting hours will be from 1 to 3 prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery
