Patricia M. Osgood, 98, passed away on April 24,2022 at Pine Rock Manor in Warner, NH. She was surrounded by her family. Pat was born on January 10, 1924, the daughter of Edward W. Rossiter and Alice Marjorie (Hurd) Rossiter.

She was a resident of Claremont and West Beach, Florida. She attended Towle High School graduating in 1940 at the age of 16. After high school, she went to nursing school and trained at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, N.H.

She married Robert C. Osgood Jr. of Claremont on Valentine's Day in 1948. She was a longtime member of the United Methodist Church in Claremont.

Pat worked for many years in the medical community in Claremont. First as a receptionist/nursing assistant at the Claremont General/Valley Regional Hospitals and later as a nursing assistant at the medical practices of Drs. Maxfield, Marshall, and Bradley on Dunning Street in the city. She retired from this position in 1983.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Robert C. Osgood Jr. in 1981, by one son Mark J. Osgood of West Palm Beach, Fl, three sisters, (Madeline McAlpine of Claremont, NH; Betty Pierce of Newport, NH; and Charlotte Lessard of Claremont, NH), two brothers, (Robert Rossiter and Richard Rossiter) both of Newport, NH., a daughter-in-law, Sandra (Juda) Osgood, and a granddaughter Christa E. Osgood of Claremont.

She is survived by three sons, David W. Osgood of Unity, NH., Gary E. Osgood and wife Bethany (Yurek) of Claremont, and Robert C. Osgood and wife Elizabeth (Chalmers) of Dunbarton, NH, one sister, Cathy Potter of Loudon, NH., four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Pat was a loving and dedicated caregiver and tenacious advocate for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Per her wishes, no services will be held. She will be buried in the Mill Village Cemetery in Goshen, NH.
