Patty Tanguay-Sain, 79 of Springfield, Vermont, passed away on Friday, July 21 at Springfield Hospital.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 on Thursday, July 27 at Stringer Funeral Home in Claremont, NH.

There will be a private graveside burial for family only.

Patty was born in Newport, NH to Verlan and Margaret McIntyre on November 26, 1944.  She went to school at Newport High School.  She married Jean-Louis Tanguay on April 7 until his death on April 23, 2004. Later on she remarried Kenneth Sain.  She worked several different jobs wallpapering for CSI, making shoes at Encore Shoes but her favorite was Daisy's Craft Store.  She was involved in The Red Hat Society and The Weathersfield Volunteer Fire Department, and the Single's Club of Springfield, VT.

Patty is preceded in death by her first husband Jean-Louis and her son Shawn.  She is also preceded in death by her parents, her sister Barbara Witt, her brother Verlan McIntyre (Mac) and her second husband Kenneth.

Patty is survived by her daughter Monique Parillo (Greg), her grandsons Patrick and Kyle.  She is also survived by her brothers Kenneth (Elaine) and Jack (Diane), her special niece Mona Labrie and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to The American Heart Association.
