Pauline (Boivin) Desmarais, resident of Sullivan County Health Care, Unity NH passed away on November 12, 2023 after a brief illness. Pauline was born in Morrisville, VT, the daughter of Herve and Lucienne (Ferland) Boivin on July 31, 1940. Pauline attended schools in VT and Claremont.

Pauline married Buster G.E. Desmarais on June 13, 1959.

Pauline was employed at Jones Bakery and the Woven Label Co in Claremont and also worked at and retired from the Annalee Doll Co In Meredith, NH.

Pauline is predeceased by her husband, Buster and her brothers Ernest, Laurier and Lucien Boivin and sisters Irene Monette and Jeannine Peoples and her great grandson Brayden Jones.

Pauline is survived by her 4 children. Gerard Jr, Claremont, Donna Dinsmoor, Springvale ME, Leon and spouse Nancy, Newport NH and Daniel and spouse Peggy, Claremont NH. 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her sister Yvonne St. Pierre, Claremont and brother Denis Boivin, Charlestown NH.

Pauline had been a resident at the County Home Health Care facility for 10 years. During her time there she made many friends that she loved and cared about. The staff and residents had become her "family" She loved them and they loved her! Her children extend a very loving Thank You to everyone she was blessed to have in her life.

There will be a graveside service Friday Nov.17th at 3:00 P.M. at the St Mary's Cemetery, Claremont NH. There will be a celebration of her life at the Claremont Elks Club immediately following.
