Pearl "Midge" Raymond Filiault Lafountain, 94, formerly of Claremont, NH died January 26, 2021 at the Sullivan County Health Care.

She was born on July 23, 1926 in Springfield, VT the daughter of Frank and Beatrice Raymond. She attended schools in Springfield, VT, and Stevens High School.

Midge married Joseph Filiault in 1946 and had three children, Dennis, Diana and Gloria and they divorced in 1954.

She worked at Goodyear Tire & Rubber in Windsor, VT for 17 years and worked at Royal Rubber in South Gate, CA for 11 years.

She married Keith C. Lafountain Sr. in July of 1968 and lived in Newport NH where they ran Newport Taxi for 11 years then they moved to Claremont in 1994.

Midge enjoyed music, dancing, bingo and reading but most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Keith Lafountain Sr., her children, Diana Simoneau, Gloria Peck and Dennis Filiiault and a special grandson, Guy Boardman.

The family includes a son Keith Lafountain Jr, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, half brothers and sister, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held Friday, February 5th at Mountain View Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
