Phyllis Florence Sevene (McElreavy) passed away peacefully early Sunday morning July 23, 2023.

Born July 14, 1934 daughter of the late Thomas & Florence McElreavy and had 5 brothers, 1 sister. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Philip Sevene Sr. Phyllis is survived by her 2 sons Philip Sevene Jr (Kristen), Rodney Sevene (Antonia), daughter Donna Smith (Glen). 8 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren. Her brothers Joe McElreavy, Bill McElreavy, Edward McElreavy and her sister Pat McElreavy.

Phyllis grew up in Claremont NH, attended St Mary's Catholic School, worked at Woolworths, and enjoyed dancing the jitterbug!! She married Philip Sevene April 23, 1955, who was in the Marine Corp and they lived in San Diego, CA where he retired from the Marines and VA Hospital. They then enjoyed traveling in their motorhome every year visiting all 50 states and friends and family along the way! Mom was a wonderful loving Grandma and great grandma who will be missed. She loved everyone she met, spunky and some would say a bit of a firecracker!!  Phil and Phyllis moved back to New Hampshire and resided at Summercrest/ The Seasons in Newport NH.

A graveside service for both Phyllis and Philip will be held Thursday July 27th 2pm at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
