Rita Richmond, 94, passed away on August 10, 2023, after a period of failing health.

Rita was born on August 9, 1929, to Aime and Alice (Dion) St. Martin. Rita was a lifelong resident of Claremont, NH.  She graduated from Stevens High School and attended Northampton Business College.  She was employed by the City of Claremont for more than two decades as secretary to the city manager.  Rita was devoted to the care of her family.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening, golf, making puzzles and tending her raspberry bushes.

Rita is survived by her daughter, Donna Brenner and her husband David; her brothers, Emery St. Martin and Robert St. Martin; her daughter-in-law, Nancy Richmond; her grandson, Adrian Richmond and his wife Asherah Allen and their daughter Rosalie; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rita is predeceased by her husband, Donald Richmond whom she married on February 18, 1950; her brother, Aime St. Martin, Jr.; her son, Bruce Richmond and her grandson, Barry Richmond.

A private burial will be held in the West Claremont Burying Ground in Claremont, NH.
