Robert (Bob) Corliss Sr, 71, of Claremont NH, passed away on July 24, 2024 after a period of failing health. He was born on Jan 20, 1953 to John D Corliss Sr and Annette (Meister) Corliss in Keene NH. Bob served in the US Navy. He was a member of the VFW where he was a former commander and a member of the American Legion Post 29. Bob is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years Sandi (Harrington) Corliss, son Robert (BJ) Corliss Jr. and his wife Vicki of Claremont, daughter Michele Westney of Walpole NH, 5 grandchildren, Derek McNamara, Ashely DeLea and her husband Eric, Alexys Corliss, Lindsey Westney,  Devyn Corliss and 2 great grandchildren Declan McNamara and Henry DeLea. He is also survived by his siblings Dawn Almand of Deland Fl., Priscila Brisson and husband James, Rhonda Stephens and her husband Chan, all of Winchester NH, and several nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents, brother John D Corliss Jr and his wife Betty, sister Lana Corliss, and son-in-law Richard (Dick) Westney. Interment will be at the NH State Veterans cemetery in Boscawen NH at a later date. There will be a celebration of life on September 14, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the American Legion Post 29 in Claremont. Bob will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
