Russell J. Morrow, 65, formerly of 4 Memorial Drive, passed away peacefully after years of living with Myotonic Dystrophy on Friday, April 4th 2025 at Cedar Healthcare Nursing Home, Portsmouth, NH. He was born in Claremont NH on February 9th, 1960, the son of Roland (Rocky) and Roberta Morrow.  He was a graduate of Stevens High School in 1979.

He will always be remembered for all the stories he told to anyone who would listen.  He loved fishing and would spend all day on the lakes in the area.  He was an avid golfer when younger and was proud of the "Hole in One' he got at the Claremont Country Club. He always had a pool stick in his hand looking for anyone who would play. He played football in High school and loved watching his favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys.  He loved playing cards with his mom, sister and nephews during their visits.

Family meant everything to him and he was especially proud of his two nephews Zachary Zombeck and Cody Zombeck.  He always bragged about what great boxers they were.  He loved his visits with his great nephew, Zeke and would save him little stuffies or candy he won when playing Bingo at the facility. Always thinking of this family.

He leaves behind a loving family who will always cherish his memory including his sister, Suzanne Barnard and her husband, Keith of New Durham, NH; two nephews, Zachary Zombeck, Deanna Lloyd and their son Zeke Zombeck of Rochester NH; Cody Zombeck, his wife Cassie Zombeck and their daughter Ivy Zombeck of Lebanon Maine; as well as many cousins.

Russell was predeceased by his parents, Roland and Roberta Morrow.

There will be a private burial with the family.
