Ryan James Murphy (Murph) age 69 of Claremont, NH passed away peacefully in his home on March 28, 2021.

Murph was born January 14, 1952 in Indianapolis, IN.  As a teenager he relocated with his parents to Clarinda, IA where he graduated high school.  He then went on to college where he majored in music and minored in US History.  Murph had a passion for music and fishing.  He could spend hours on a boat, and it didn't matter if the fish were biting or not.  He was an extremely talented guitarist and pianist.  Ryan could silence a whole room whenever he played.

Murph is survived by his son, Travis Wymore of St. Joseph, MO; his daughter, Lyndsey Baker of Omaha, NE; 4 grandchildren; his sister, Jan Smith of Nokomis, FL, and close friends, Pam and Chubby Labounty who opened their home to a stranger and who soon became an active loving family member.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Margret; his bothers, Duane and Carl; his son, Flagg and daughter, Starlet.

To most people he was simply known as "Murph" but to me he was dad.  He was an entertainer and could always make you laugh with a good joke or story.  He was silly, kind and loving and he will be missed by many.
