Susan B. Dole, 74, died peacefully on Tuesday April 22, 2025 at Woodlawn Care Center in Newport. She was born in Skowhegan, Maine and raised in Claremont, NH by her parents Harold and Claire Couture.
She worked at various local jobs doing customer service ultimately retiring after over 20 years at PC Connection in Keene, NH. She graduated from St Mary's High-school in Claremont, NH. She enjoyed knitting, camping, family, the beach, reading, and working puzzle books.
She is pre-deceased by her parents, Claire and Harold Couture and sister, Denise Rector.
She leaves behind son, Jacob Dole and significant other, Angela Hooper and daughter, Jocelyn Beeman and husband, Jason; her grandchildren, Devyn, Alexis, Prestyn, Oliver and Carson.
She will be remembered for her contagious laugh, kind hearted soul, quirky humor and antics. She was a very active grandmother, very independent and made friends everywhere she went.
Visiting hours will be held at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, NH, on Tuesday, April 29th from 1pm to 2pm. A Prayer service will be held at 2pm. Burial to follow in St. Mary Cemetery.  Donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
