Tammy E. McGuire, 67, passed away peacefully at her home in Charlestown, New Hampshire, on January 27, 2026.

She was born on December 1, 1958, in Newport, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Anthony and Winzola (Frye) McGuire of Croydon, New Hampshire.

Tammy was a mother to her daughter and son, a grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren, a sister to nine siblings, and a friend to many. She leaves behind a lifetime of stories, adventures, and memories. Much of her joy was found outdoors, enjoying fresh air and sunshine, and living life on her own terms. Tammy valued friendships and family deeply and was known for her spirited personality, love for fun, and ability to live fully in the moment.

In addition to her parents, Tammy was predeceased by her brothers Patrick McGuire, Douglas McGuire, Glenn McGuire, and Kelly McGuire, as well as her longtime partner, Tom Lane.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Sohngen; her son, Gary Richardson Jr.; her grandson, Noah Richardson; her granddaughter, Charlotte Richardson; her sisters, Sandy (Mike) Hanscom, Koreen (David) Bridgeo, and Darlene McGuire; her brothers, Donald (Brenda) McGuire and Larry McGuire; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

A graveside service will be held in the spring of 2026 at the Croydon Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her brother Patrick McGuire.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Exact details will be shared with family and friends when available.
