It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Terrance Douglas "Red" Henderson Sr., 75, of Charlestown, NH, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025 at his home. Terry was born on February 3, 1950 in Windsor, VT to his parents, Henry and Dorothy (Hurlburt) Henderson of Windsor. VT.

Terry attended school in Windsor, VT.  At the age of 18, he enlisted into the Marine Corps.  Terry served in the Vietnam War as a frontline rifleman for 2 years and went on to serve in the Marine Corps Reserve until 1975.

Terry worked for several paper mills in the area until changing careers to construction and worked for several companies including the last, Daniel's Construction.

Throughout his life Terry enjoyed hobbies of fishing, hunting, raising farm animals, traveling, homesteading and crafting his own various fruit wines. He also enjoyed collecting antiques and was especially proud of his candy apple red 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback and his baby blue 1964 Chevy C10 pickup.

Terry was always the life of the party and made friends with every stranger he met.  He always told it how it was, whether you wanted to hear it or not, and was always down to tell stories for anyone who'd listen. Terry had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need.  He had a special spot in his heart for troubled kids and he would take them under his wing, taking them fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and so much more.  To this day, these now adults still refer to him as Uncle Terry or their second Dad.

‍Terry is survived by his loving wife/soul mate of 41 years together, Patti (Kibling) Henderson, their three sons, Terrance Henderson Jr. (wife Molly), of Manchester, NH.; son Jeremy Henderson of Lebanon, NH and son Zachary Henderson (fiancée Lexi) of Claremont, NH.; and one grandchild, Terrance Douglas Henderson III who was the apple of his eye.  He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews and his two dogs Dingle and Taz.

‍Terry is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Sandra (Henderson) Rigsby; brothers, Henry Jr., Eddie and Andy Henderson.

‍A wake will take place from 5p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Stringer Funeral Home in Claremont, NH. Burial with full military honors will be set at a later date.
