Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Thomas Ryan Gagnon. Born on May 3, 1951, to Eugene and Leona Gagnon, Tom lived a life filled with dedication and hard work.

He attended St. Mary's Grammar School for eight years and graduated from Stevens High School in 1970. Following high school, Tom served in the U.S. Army for two years. After his honorable service, he began an apprenticeship in masonry. However, feeling that this path wasn't his calling, Tom transitioned into the textile industry, where he worked for several years before returning to masonry construction, a family trade, where he worked for his brother Kerry.

In 2013, after many years of committed service, Tom retired from K.M. Gagnon, Inc.

Tom is survived by his mother, Leona Gagnon of Claremont; his sisters, Gloria Dichard of Tucson, Arizona, and Pamela Smith of Williamstown, Vermont; and his brother and favorite sister-in-law, Kerry and Jana Gagnon of Claremont and many nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Gagnon, and his brother-in-law, William Smith.

We will deeply miss "Tomcat's" continuous smile, wit and sense of humor.
