Timothy N. Therrien, 67, of Roberts Hill Road in Claremont, NH, died peacefully after a period of declining health.

He was born in Windsor, VT, the son of Paul and Patricia (Bauer) Therrien.

He resided in Claremont most of his life. He was a 1973 graduate of Stevens High School. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.

Tim became a machinist and worked at his parent's business, Ultra Precision Products, eventually buying the company in 1994. He wore every hat in the building, from shipping to CEO. He belonged to the Claremont Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Administration. Under Tim's direction, Ultra Precision received many accolades for quality and excellence. The company closed in 2008. He later worked at Whelen Manufacturing before retiring in 2017.

In 1977, he married the love of his life, Donna Calderwood with whom he celebrated 45 years of marriage with last year. Tim was a devoted family man. He was always proud of his children and their spouses. The addition of grandchildren to the family made the last 4 years very special.

When it came to his family, he was all-in for practices, games and supporting all their interests. Tim was a huge New England sports fan, especially the Bruins. He was thrilled when both of his children played hockey and attended every game possible. When referees were needed, he learned to skate and became a fixture in stripes for local youth hockey organizations. He loved the outdoors; hunting and fishing in his younger years, feeding the birds or watching the wildlife who wandered through his backyard.

A strong supporter of education, Tim volunteered on the Craft Committee which was instrumental to the building of the Sugar River Valley Technical Center in Claremont. He also donated equipment, material and expertise to the machine tool program.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; two children, Ryan Therrien and his wife, Shannon of Claremont and Nicole Dunning and her husband, Derek and their children, Charlotte and Nash of Northfield, VT; two sisters, Kathi Osterlund and her husband, Jim of Cornish and Karen Kolash and her life partner, Joe Havas; nieces and nephews, Juliann Hamblin and her Husband, Kenneth and their daughters, Lila and Savannah, Erik Osterlund and his wife, Sara, Joshua Kolash and his wife, Abbie and their son, Franklin and Noella Kolash.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Church in Claremont, on Thursday, March 2 ^nd at 11:00 AM.  At the request of the family there will be no visiting hours, and a private burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Claremont Soup Kitchen in Tim's name.
