Wanda Katherine Tenney, 90, of Greenfield, MA, died September 7, 2024 at her home. She was born in Conway, MA on March 7, 1934 the daughter of Andrew and Adela (Jarzylo) Piekarski.  Wanda previously resided in Swanzey, NH and in Charlestown, NH.

She worked as a nurse's aide at the Franklin Medical Center and the Farren Memorial Hospital in Mass. and also as a machine operator at the American Optical in Brattleboro, VT.

She joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints in 1954. During her life she served as librarian, chorister, Sunday school teacher, relief society counselor and also president of the relief society. In 1988, Wanda traveled to Poland and served a six week mission in the newly formed Warsaw branch.

She was always supportive of the Humane Society of America.

The surviving family includes her husband, Clarence E. Tenney, Jr. of Greenfield, MA; one son, Jan Kuznik and his wife Jane of Leyden, MA; three grandchildren; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was pre-deceased by one son Joseph Kuznik, two brothers and one sister, Walter Pekarski, Stanley Pekarski and Jessie Britt.

Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints on 130 Summit Road Keene, NH on Friday, morning September 13th at 11AM. Visiting will be one hour prior to the services at the church.  Interment will follow at the East Dummerston Cemetery.
