Wendell P. Kennett, of Charlestown, NH, passed away on January 3, 2024 after a long battle with cancer.  He will be missed.

Known for his caring ways and always ready to offer his help whenever possible or just telling how it was!

Wendell was an avid outdoorsman his whole life.  He loved hunting and fishing as well as teaching his children and grandchildren the wonders of the great outdoors.

His greatest love after family was farming which he did for 25 years.

In order to spend more time with his family he switched professions and started as a machinist and became a natural at it.

He worked for Peter Holbrick for many years farming, then went to work at Lovejoy Tool Company for 14 years and retired from GAK Aerospace at the age of 66.

Being a worker, he started a butcher shop at his home with his twin brother, Wayne until his health started failing.

Wendell was born on October 17, 1947 to Gordon and Irene Kennett and had 3 sons, John Kennett of Charlestown, NH, Jesse Kennett of Springfield, VT and Jason Kennett of Claremont, NH, and a daughter, Carol Jean Dunn that passed away on February 1, 2007.  He had five stepchildren, Leonard Pillsbury of Cornish, NH, Kevin Pillsbury of Bradford, VA, Brian Pillsbury of Claremont, NH, Charlene LaClair of Sunapee, NH and Guenter Roy Jr of Manchester, NH.  Nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Shirley Kennett.

A graveside service will be held on August 3rd at 11 AM at the Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown, NH.
