William (Bill) Aldrich, 75, of Charlestown, NH passed away unexpectedly at home with his loving wife by his side on July 31, 2025.

Bill was born in Hanover, NH on August 12, 1949. He was raised by his parents, Homer and Blanche Aldrich in Newport, NH, graduating from Newport High School, class of 1968.

After graduation, Bill went straight into the workforce, developing many skills in the construction industry, which he utilized right up until his passing.

In 1974, Bill was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Teaching others about God's promises found within the Bible was one of his greatest joys.

Bill was a lover of the outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing. He especially enjoyed the time he would spend "up to camp" with his whole family. An off-grid hunting camp, deep in the woods of Vermont.

Bill had a huge heart and a giving spirit, always willing to help someone in need. He really enjoyed volunteering his time to help build kingdom halls and provide disaster relief to those in need. Affectionately referred to as Bill-dozer, whether you needed a new roof, a wall torn down, or just a good friend to sit with you and listen, he was the first one there, toolbelt on and ready to help get the job done.

Bill was predeceased by his father, Homer Aldrich, as well as his mother, Blanche Aldrich.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Trish Aldrich of Charlestown, NH, his son, Tobias Aldrich with his wife Danielle, of Rhode Island, his step-daughter, Audrey McCaffrey with her husband Jason, and their son Austin, of Claremont, NH. Surviving siblings include his sister Joyce DeLoca, Mary Jane Pettigrew with her husband Dennis, and his "big brother", Tom Aldrich with his wife Marilyn. As well as several nieces and nephews.

Bill's smile, his ability to make us laugh without even trying, as well as his love of spicy foods "The hotta, the bettah", will remain fondly in our memories and provide us many laughs for years to come.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 10th, at 2:30pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 211 River Rd, Claremont, NH.
