William Floyd Peoples, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family. His last words were "I love you all."

He was born on October 25, 1943, the son of the late Donald and Dorothy Peoples and was predeceased by his sister, Donna Knowlton.

William, known affectionately as Bill, shared a wonderful life with his wife, Joanne Palmer, whom he married on May 25, 1980. Together, they enjoyed traveling to the islands, Hampton Beach, and creating cherished memories with their children and grandchildren.

Bill was a man of many passions, including spending time at his home, riding his tractors, working with wood and tending to his gardens. He had fun going to Boston and watching the Red Sox games. He proudly served in the US Army from 1960 to 1965, and his career included work at Cone Blanchard and Green Mountain Smokehouse.

He is survived by his children, Koreen Dumont Henne (Jake), Kenneth Dumont (Rosie), James Dumont, William Peoples, Jr., and Susan Pinson; his siblings, Jean Petrin and Jane Gilson; his grandchildren, Brooke, Ashley, Ryan, Molly, Zachary, and Haley; and his great-grandchildren, Grayson and Addison.

Visiting hours will be held from 1 to 2 pm, followed by a service at 2 pm at Stringer Funeral Home, Claremont, NH on October 4, 2025. A celebration of life will follow at the Grateful Dane Lodge, located at 5 Schoolhouse Road in Newport, NH.
