It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William E Shea, Claremont NH. He passed peacfully on September 28, 2024, at Elmwood Nursing Home. He was born in Manchester NH, on August 24 1945, to parents Daniel Shea and Grace Palmer-Shea. He attended public schools in Manchester NH and later joined the Army from 1962-1965, where he was a medic. He traveled alot and finally settled down in Claremont NH. To those who knew and loved him, William was known as "Leprechaun Bill" or "Billy". He loved working and even in his old age would often be seen doing his Washington St. stroll with his walker. He loved camping, Bbq's and putting smiles on people's faces with jokes and stories of the past. He was a man who enjoyed doing what he could for others, when he could, and will be missed very much.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Grace, his brother Daniel C Shea, his sister Patricia Coffin, as well as, several aunts, uncles, neices and nephews. He is survived by his long time partner of 48 years Phyllis Shea of Claremont NH, brother John Shea of Unity NH, sister Debra Carter of Florida, sister Grace Coolidge of Florida. His children Adrian Groulx of Manchester NH, Daniel Shea of Florida, Christina Shea of Springfield Massachusetts and Chantel Genest of Claremont NH. His grandchildren Brianna Shaffer and spouse Shane Shaffer, of Claremont NH, as well as their children, Medalia Heatley of Springfield Massachusetts and her children, Shaylah Genest of New Hampshire and her child, Angel Heatley of Springfield Massachusetts and Mckenzie Genest-Warner of Claremont NH, as well as, many neices, nephews and long time friends.

There will be a Celebration of life in the spring so we can honor and celebrate the way Billy would enjoy, with a BBQ and some music. Date and time of the Celebration will be sent out on a later date.
