Winifred "Winnie" Ann Lesnick, 83, of Ascutney VT passed away peacefully at her home in Hoosick Falls, NY Thursday morning, December 22, 2022. She was born to the late Edna McMillian (Greenwood) on May 7, 1939, in Goffstown, NH and was the loving wife of 41 years to the late John "Pete" Lesnick.

Winnie was an avid quilter who enjoyed creating blankets and other various items which she often lovingly gifted to her family and friends. She enjoyed numerous quilting trips throughout her life with her dear friends where fond memories and projects were made. Along with quilting, in her spare time, Winnie enjoyed line dancing, bird watching and lending a helping hand to her son-in-law in the flower garden. Winnie held a deep love and devotion to her family and friends and her presence will be deeply missed by all.

Beside her mother and husband, Winnie is predeceased by her sister Dorothy Morin and great-grandson Wyatt Wysocki. She is survived by her beloved children: Dan Lesnick (Ann) of Brownsville, VT; David Lesnick of Bellow Falls, VT; Karen Kovage (Paul) of Hoosick Falls, NY and John Lesnick (Patty) of Rutland, VT. Surviving grandchildren include:Jessica Brenenstuhl (Nick); Amanda Lesnick (Jason); Jeffrey Church (Charlotte); Katie Wysocki (Corey) and Lindsey Lesnick along with six great-grandchildren (Alivia, Matthew, Madisyn, Henry, Payton and Tate) all of whom she adored.

Friends and family may call and celebrate her life at the Stringer Funeral Home, 146 Broad Street in Claremont, NH on December 27, 2022. Calling hour will be 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a funeral service to follow immediately afterwards with burial concluding in the St. Mary Cemetery.
